offers to the students a complete structure for the development of their undergraduate and graduate courses. Currently, UMC’s academic activities are divided into four units that, together, offer more than 140 undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of Exact Sciences, Humanities and Health.

The UMC units are fully suited to the teaching, research and extension activities developed in each area of knowledge. To do so, it has locations, labs and equipment specially designed for the most diverse purposes. Campus Mogi das Cruzes/SP

UMC Unit I was founded in 1973 and is located in an area of ​​926,000 square feet. Twelve buildings make up the complex that houses, among other facilities, a library of 16,500 square feet, a Cultural Center, a Research Center (CIIB) and a radio and TV studios (Social Communication Course), as well as clinics (Psychology and Dentistry), laboratories and Research Centers (NIB and NPT). In this Unit, students also have access to other services and amenities that make academic life easier, such as snack bars, copy machines, a bookstore and ATM machine.

Unit II is destinated to the sports pratices. In an area of ​​more than 280,000 square feet, students have an infrastructure that includes two multi-sport gyms, a soccer field with synthetic grass, four multi-sport courts, a specific area for athletics and an indoor heated swimming pool. The Physical Education course is taught on this specific location.

Central Institute of Health – Mogi das Cruzes/SP

Unit III – Central Institute of Health – ICS, has an area of ​​34,000 square feet, the location has two buildings with three floors each, connected by walkways. The facility provides to the Health Sciences Courses the opportunity to combine the practical teaching with serving the population, thus reinforcing the provision of services in ​​public health in Mogi das Cruzes.  Inaugurated in 1969, the ICS initially functioned as the School of Medicine that today is located at the main campus.

Inaugurado em 1969, o ICS funcionou inicialmente como a Faculdade de Medicina da UMC, abrigando laboratórios e salas de anatomia, entre outros ambientes que hoje compõem a Área de Ciências da Saúde (instalados na Unidade I do Campus da Sede).
